Learning Sessions: We are bringing in guest speakers, experts in their field, for informational lunch time meetings on topics such as Quick Books, taxes, social media and marketing, and company health insurance. Please fill out and return with your invoice the short questionnaire attached so that we may be able to cover the topics you are most interested in.
Free Business Resources: There are many resources for businesses in Doniphan County, and most of those are free. We want to familiarize you with these resources and be a connector for Doniphan County businesses.
Home Business Membership Category: There are many home based businesses in Doniphan County, we want to connect them and offer them the benefits of membership. These businesses can come together with the community and be recognized and create a cohesive network.
Student involvement: We welcome high school and college students to join and be involved, also giving them representation on the board. Studies show that youth involvement at a community level will increase the likelihood that they will stay or return to that home community as future business owners and productive citizens.
Scholarship Fund: Every year the chamber rewards scholarships to high school seniors who are seeking higher level education.
Citizen and Business Awards: Every year the chamber bestows a variety of awards to citizens and businesses who have helped Doniphan County to excel. We will be asking for nominations for these awards within the upcoming months, then they will be presented at the Business Appreciation Breakfast this June.
Doniphan Proud discount: Doniphan Proud is a program organized by the office of Economic Development to strengthen existing businesses and attract new businesses to Doniphan County. This program designed to go along with Doniphan County’s new website allowing businesses to use enhanced business pages on the website for professional, affordable and measurable marketing options.
