Please read the following information carefully about Highland’s MODIFIED Spring Cleanup 2020.

Dumpster will be available for city residents to use, located at east city limits at bottom of hill.

• MUST MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING OF 6 FEET AT ALL TIMES!
• No employee or volunteer will assist with removal from your home.
• Residents with larger items may set them at curbside, call City Hall (785-442-3765) and city workers will pick up.
• NO TRASH will be accepted.
• We CANNOT take hazardous waste – Please take to land fill site in Wathena.

You can get rid of: 

• Large or small appliances (MUST be cleaned out)
• Air conditioners
• Water heaters
• Old furniture
• Bedsprings, used mattresses
• Old swings, bicycles, mowers
• Old vehicles
• Sinks, tubs, or toilets
• Aluminum cans, pans

TREE LIMBS – City will assist in hauling limbs to the burn pile from now until Friday, April 17th.

1. Place limbs in a pile along the street
2. Call city hall with name & location of pile – 785-442-3765
