This is a great time to clean out any piles of old tires that are lying around. Rain collects in them and they are a harbor for mosquitoes. With the current Zika virus threat, it’s a good idea to eliminate all possible sources of standing water. Tire Cutters Inc. of Seneca, KS, has been contracted to collect the tires brought in that day. Businesses who have old tires lying around and want them picked up are encouraged to contact Tire Cutters Inc. at 785-336-3469 at a later date to see about getting rid of their tires.

• Passenger/Pickup Tires:
  • FREE for up to 10 tires ($1.00 each if on the rim)
  • $1.50 each after the first 10 tires (add $1.00 each if on the rim)
• Semi Tires:
  • $5.00 each without rim
  • $8.00 each on the rim
• Motorcycle/ATV Tires:
  • $1.00 each
• All other tires prorated by size:
  •  For example, the cost of tractor tires will vary from $7.50 to $20.00 each, depending on their size.
