Important Primary Election Dates:
- July 12, 2022 – 5:00 PM deadline to register to vote
- July 13, 2022 – Advance voting in-person and by mail begins
- July 26, 2022 – Last day to apply for advance ballot by mail
- 9:30 AM Pre-Election Equipment Test
- August 1, 2022 – Noon deadline for in-person advance voting
- August 2, 2022 – Primary Election – Polls open 7AM-7PM
- Advance ballots by mail must be returned or postmarked
- August 5, 2022 – Last day to count ballots postmarked by August 2, 2022
- August 3, 2022 – 4:30 AM Election Audit Selection
- August 4, 2022 – 9:00 AM Election Audit
- August 8, 2022 – 8:30 AM Election Canvass
- August 9, 2022 – Post Election Equipment Test
Public Election Audit Notice
A manual audit by random selection of August 2, 2022 primary election returns will be conducted on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at the Doniphan County Courthouse 120 E Chestnut Street, Troy, Kansas in the County Commission meeting room. The precinct random selection process will take place at 4:30 P.M. on Wednesday August 3, 2022 in the office of the Doniphan County Clerk/County Election Officer.
PUBLIC NOTICE
The public test of election ballot counting equipment to be used in the Primary Election on August 2, 2022 will be conducted on the lower level of the Doniphan County Courthouse, Troy, Kansas, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 9:30 A.M. in accordance with K.S.A. 25-4411(b) 25-4610(b).
Notice of Post Election Equipment Test
Post-Election public testing of vote counting equipment used in the August 2, 2022 Primary Election will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. in the office of the Doniphan County Clerk 120 E. Chestnut St. Troy, Kansas pursuant to KSA 25-4610.
