The city does not provide trash pickup. It is up to each individual to contact a private trash service.

TRASH BURNING REGULATIONS

No burning of trash allowed in the City of Wathena per City Ordinance number 589. The burning of brush requires a permit that can be obtained at City Hall. For all rules and regulations of burning, a copy of the official ordinances may be obtained at City Hall or on the Ordinances page of this website.
