“We are very excited to become a brick and mortar addition to the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor.  While we already employ top talent in the Kansas area, this acquisition will allow us to recruit additional talent to support the manufacture of drugs and biologics for companion animals,” stated Denise Bevers, Co-Founder and COO of KindredBio.

Kimberly Young, president of the KC Animal Health Corridor, assisted the company with its site search and selection of a Corridor location.

Organizations that assisted in attracting KindredBio to the region were the KC Area Development Council, the State of Kansas, the Kansas Department of Commerce, Westar Energy, KC Animal Health Corridor, and the Doniphan County Economic Development Commission.

“It was pleasure working with Kindred Bio and other area partners to help facilitate the entrance of such a fantastic company and employer to Doniphan County.” Adrienne Korson, Director of Economic Development in Doniphan County stated. “We look forward to helping assist in the future success of such a promising and cutting-edge enterprise, as KindredBio grows and fortifies our area as an important part of the animal health corridor.”
