Chamber holds ribbon cutting ceremony for Doniphan Darlings in Highland

The Doniphan County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the highly anticipated opening of the new Doniphan Darlings Daycare located at 202 W. Illinois in Highland, Kansas.

Doniphan Darlings, Inc. provides daycare services Monday thru Friday between 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as a before and after school program for 7- to 12-year-old students.

The Community Coalition/Non-Profit Organization has been open since last July and recently hired more employees that will allow them to bring in more children.

“Our guiding principle is to provide for the health, education, safety and overall well-being of every child entrusted to our care,” said Ben Gilmore.
