Join us at the Wathena Community Building to talk all about the Big Kansas Road Trip (BKRT) that is coming to Brown, Doniphan and Nemaha counties May 7-10, 2020.
In summary, this event brings the exploring public to the selected counties to learn about rural communities through first-hand experiences. All that is required of each town is to just be yourself. The folks that attend this event have an exploring spirit and they are interested in little nuances that make a town, business, or attraction interesting.
We hope you can join us at one of the two meetings hosted in Doniphan County.
It is a thoughtful audience that attends this event. They create their own itinerary and go at their own pace. They love eating in local cafes, visiting with the locals, shopping, learning, seeing attractions, and traveling the backroads.
Additionally there are public meetings being held in both Brown and Nemaha Counties. Anybody in the three counties can attend any one of the meetings:
• October 16, 5:30 p.m., Troy Public Library
• October 16, 7:15 p.m., Wathena Community Building
• October 17, 5:30 p.m., Carwell Building, Ag Museum, Hiawatha
