This is a great time to clean out any piles of old tires that are lying around. Rain collects in them and they are a harbor for mosquitoes. With the current Zika virus threat, it’s a good idea to eliminate all possible sources of standing water. Tire Cutters Inc. of Seneca, KS, has been contracted to collect the tires brought in/dropped off that day. Businesses who have old tires lying around and want them picked up are encouraged to contact Tire Cutters Inc. at 785-336-3469 at a later date to see about getting rid of their tires.

• Passenger/Pickup Tires:
  • FREE for up to 10 tires ($1.00 each if on the rim)
  • $1.50 each after the first 10 tires (add $1.00 each if on the rim)
• Semi Tires:
  • $5.00 each without rim
  • $8.00 each on the rim
• Motorcycle/ATV Tires:
  • $1.00 each
• All other tires prorated by size:
  •  For example, the cost of tractor tires will vary from $7.50 to $20.00 each, depending on their size.
