Meals on Wheels

The Doniphan County Council on Aging operates four Senior Centers throughout the County.
Meals cost $7.00 for persons under 60 and a suggested, but not required, donation of $5.00 for those over 60.
Contact your local Senior Center if interested in purchasing a meal.
The Senior Centers are closed on all holidays in accordance with the Doniphan County Courthouse Holidays schedule.
The Senior Centers are also closed during inclement weather. Closings are posted on KQ-2 TV.

Transportation

The Doniphan County Council on Aging provides public transportation services to and from doctor’s appointments, shopping, work, and recreational trips for a fee.
Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
Transportation services are closed on all holidays in accordance with the Doniphan County Courthouse Holidays schedule.
Transportation services are also closed during inclement weather. Closings are posted on KQ-2 TV. Advanced reservations are required.
Local rides which are 25 miles or less one way (St. Joseph, Hiawatha, Atchison, and anywhere in Doniphan County) will be $10.00 round trip.

Out of area rides which are more than 25 miles one way (Kansas City, Topeka, Leavenworth, Seneca, Maryville, Horton, and Sabetha) will be $35.00 round trip.
